Store Settings
From AffiliateBang Wiki
Store Name: This is the name of your store as displayed in both the title bar and on the page itself.
Store description: Themes usually display these words right below your store name. This can be a catchy slogan or whatever you want. Please note that some WordPress themes do not allow the Store Descriptions to be displayed, this is decided by each individual theme creator and not something that can be changed within Bang.
Root URL: This is where you've installed AffiliateBang such as: http://www.mysite.com, http://www.mysite.com/store, http://store.mysite.com
Sidebar Type: Some WordPress themes do not work well with a dynamic sidebar. If the sidebar in your chosen theme looks incorrect, try changing this setting.
Force Search in Dynamic Sidebar: This creates a search on your site if your selected WordPress theme doesn't not have a built-in search. You must set the sidebar type to dynamic, and a search box will appear on all pages of your site, within the sidebar.
Override theme margin for categories: In some themes, the subcategory indentation is disabled on the sidebar. Choosing this option will override that, and will indent your subcategories in the sidebar.
Empty cart message: This is the message displayed to your visitor when they view their shopping cart without any products in it. You can change the text by clicking within the box and typing in your own message.
Super shipper message: This is the message your visitor sees when they find an Amazon product that qualifies for Free Super Shipping. This is also customizable.
No items found: If your visitor searches for products and none are found or there are no products available in a category you have created, this is the message displayed. This is customizable as well.
Max review pages: This allows you to choose the number of product reviews left on Amazon by customers. Leaving it blank pulls in zero reviews, and it can be set to display up to 99 pages of reviews.
Default index: This is the page or category ID you wish to use for your homepage.
Hide subcategories: If this box is checked, subcategories will only be displayed when you are viewing it or the parent category. They will only display in your admin area and will not be seen by your site visitors until you uncheck the box.
Sort categories alphabetically: If this box is checked, categories will be sorted alphabetically and their priority number will be ignored.
Show 'page' only on first category page: This allows you to decide how to show your page/category information. If this is checked, you only see the matching page for categories on the first item page of that category.
Enable gzip compression: This enables compression for your site so your pages will load faster for your visitors.
SEO Category URL formatting: Configures the formatting for categories and pages for your site when SEO optimization is enabled. [#category] is a placeholder and is replaced with the category in the actual URL.
SEO Item URL formatting: Configures the formatting for categories and pages for your site when SEO optimization is enabled. [#category] is a placeholder and is replaced with the category in the actual URL.
Enable Amazon Image Redirection: When enabled, images at Amazon.com will appear to be from your site.
Image Formatting: When image redirection is enabled, this allows you to configure the appearance of the URLs for the images.
