Themes

The Themes area consists of two sections, Select Theme and Edit Theme.
Select Theme: This area holds all your uploaded themes, with your current choice displayed at the top. To preview a theme, click on it's thumbnail and the preview will pop up in a new window. To select a theme, click on the name or title under the thumbnail. To delete themes, click on the X next to the name. Please note that there is no additional prompt when you click the X, so if you click it by mistake, you will have to reload that theme into your store.
Edit Theme: This section is very useful for those that are familiar with HTML and/or PHP and want to customize their theme. However, if you do not know HTML and/or PHP, then it is best to avoid this section of your store.
A few words about WordPress themes
AffiliateBang has been designed to work with the majority of WordPress themes. There are, however, some themes that either have been designed poorly, oddly or for an older/newer version of WordPress and may not display properly. Fortunately, this should be rare.
Some of these types of themes may install but will trigger "Whoops! Looks like your server does not include the ZipArchive class for PHP. Attempting to install using exec unzip" at the top of the Select Theme page. If you see that message, refresh the page to see if your theme was installed successfully.
If the theme shows a PHP error, please please go to the AffiliateBang forum and post the URL to the theme you wish to use and a brief description of what is wrong with it. A moderator or one of our helpful members will attempt to assist you in fixing the theme.
Some themes may have extra or oddly placed elements when you view your store. These themes will look a bit "off" when you view your store, but will not show any PHP errors. If you know HTML, you can attempt to fix these yourself. If you are unfamiliar with HTML, please post a request for help in the forum.
On a final note, some WordPress themes state that they should not be used for commercial purposes. Please do not use these themes, as your AffiliateBang store is commercial. You may be able to contact the creator and arrange something, but we suggest looking for another theme you like just in case.
